I’ve been asked 13 & 18 twice now. It was too much to resist, huh? Oh, you boys!
13: During the credits of Transformers 2. I was there, and I still have no idea how this happened. As a result, I probably have more positive associations with that movie than pretty much anyone else on Earth.
18: T.O.P comes to mind pretty immediately. Hooooooly eff, son.
1: I was at the airport waiting for this guy’s flight back home, feeling a little raw in the denouement of our time together. His departure was delayed a bit, so we spent some time parked at one of the tables outside security, not speaking much. I remember him telling me not to look so sad because we’d definitely see each other again, and I didn’t say anything, just smiled, but it irritated me—as if I couldn’t see through that by then, or him.
And that was about it. About fifteen minutes prior to departure, he grabbed his bags and stood up, and we walked over to the empty security line. He kissed me one time, said my name, and left, and that was the last time I ever saw him.
